Small businesses are really having a tough time in this economy but you know, there’s something to be said for making it work even when the deck is stacked against you. I can’t think about anything other than work and that’s because I’m one of the few entrepreneurs left in my little town but to my credit we’re actually doing better than ever even with the market the way it is. I run a delivery laundry company and apparently there’s a niche for it which is fine by me…I love what I do and getting to work with clients all day and they like that – I just enjoy being able to chat and have some flexibility when it comes to work. I can’t think about anything these days but HR rules and overtime and things like merchant services but you know, I guess that’s what makes me a good business owner. This place has become my life but I think that’s what’s helping keep us afloat right now to be honest with you.
